Welcome to Daylily Haven Iris Gardens

A state inspected garden, owned and operated by Nina Morgan

Thank You, Daylily and Iris Lovers, for your continued support and your repeat orders.  You make it possible for me to continue doing what I love.  I want 'you' to know that I appreciate you! All of you and New Customers, Flower Lovers, please enjoy browsing my site and 'You' are also important to me.  I hope that you can't resist some of these beautiful flowers.  Be careful because it is likely that you too may become addicted.

Here you will see over 600 pictures of registered Daylilies.  Most all my pictures I have taken here in the gardens, I do not mind you using any of my pictures, those with my names on them and a few without my name, just ask me, if questionable.  You will see many discriptive Daylily Listings.  It did not take me long to purchase without a picture, I could just read and want it!  I am still bad to do that, not so bad though because you can run out of room.  Well, I never make room before I purchase, I know that there is always some room somewhere, never fails.  Oh, I don't forget, there are so many of my daylily seedlings here that I haven't counted them.  I have some daylily seedlin beauties but I can't register, there is only one worker and she can't handle another job.  I think you can guess who she is.

Talking about making some daylily room, I decide that I have to move out some daylilies so that I can move some in.  Well, just look and you will find some good prices that are scattered throughout the over 1,100 daylily listings.  Look for the M which is multiple fans for some super, duper daylily sale prices. They are beautiful, but all are beautiful, spiders, singles, tailored, ritzy, heavily braided, all the colors, big exotics, much ruffling, doubles, which I specialize in, well I specialize in all of them!  Then there are the heavily braided, double edges and the very exotic double spiders, and not to forget the 'little ones'.  Oh, as I write I know the famous hybridizers are hard at work to give us something else new!  So Very excited about seeing this years daylily bloom and some of my newer ones that I have listed this year.

IRIS, again I am in love with iris!  About twenty years ago, can't keep up with time anymore, I saw Schreiner's Iris Catalog!  I had no idea that iris came in all these beautiful colors and bi-colors: tailored, ruffled, exotics with 6 falls and no standards, ReBloomers, blooming more than once, wild broken colors 'w' streaks and splashes, little dwarfs and other smaller sizes that bloom before the tall bearded ones.  Spring's first bloomers, Forsythias, Hawthorne, all kinds of Spring bulbs, Japanese Magnolias, Bridal Wreath, Peach Almond, then the Azaleas and Rhododendrons begin their glorious show and before finishing the little iris begin blooming everywhere.  What a happy time, such an awakening!  I could not bare to be without iris.

Here I grow many Iris and don't have a clue how many?  It is too many for me to care for anymore and I think you will find some very good pricing.  I can't sell for any less because I take a lot of pride in shipping clean, sanitized, dried, and fresh and you keep dry until planted. If I ship any that are not quite mature you will always get more and they should bloom the next Spring anyway.  Some of the big iris rhizomes may surprise you by not blooming because they may be building such great increase that they don't take the time to bloom the first year.  Again iris are all beautiful and they have a place in your garden!

I have saved this for last, it saddens me to tell you that my gardens will not be open this year.  My health is not so good and  has slowed me down a bit.  I hope to get better in the future but with RA and other arthritis problems I don't know.  None of us are promised a day!  My health is the reason that I have grown these gardens to excess and abundance and I will continue because I will not sit in front of the tv nor will I lie in the bed or chair waiting to get better because I am already better than I would be if I had chosen the house.  I am a mover and I love all that I do.  I tried to train three different people this past summer and fall because I need help.  I am not a trainer and I have tried my last time.  I am the gardens, I am the digger, the packer.  I will dig and ship as fast as possible and You will receive your plants in nice condition, I will be generous and pleasing.
